The film tells of a man named Cobb, played by Leonardo DiCaprio who has the ability to enter one's dreams. Because of its ability Cobb was hired by certain companies to steal the ideas of other companies who become rivals. Of course, by going into a dream a person who becomes the target. In the film, told Cobb himself as one of the fugitive to be hunted by the U.S. Government. When he wanted to quit his job, he was offered a job by an employer (Watanabe) to do the Inception of put the idea to someone who's been targeted by entering a dream or subconscious. In return, Cobb will be exempt from any lawsuits and could return to his family.

In his work, Cobb could not bekerjaa alone. He is assisted by several people who formed a team to run missinya it. One person from the team should be a stabilizer to maintain the condition of his colleagues when they sleep into dreams of the victim / target.
